Welcome, I am Nicole, and along with my husband John, I own a touch of chocolate, a handcrafted chocolate and dessert business in Charleston, SC. My passion for chocolate started with my dad. He always told me, "If you could be anything, why not be a chocolatier? Everyone's a little happier with a bit of chocolate." Those words stuck with me. At the time I was working with kids on the autism spectrum, rewarding work, but I'd come home exhausted and needed something that was just mine. Making chocolate became that thing. A few hours a week turned into treats for my students, my family, and my friends. When I watched their faces light up, I realized Dad was right.

In 2024, with John and my family cheering me on, I decided to share that joy with as many people as I can. Today we make everything by hand: chocolate-covered strawberries, pretzels, Oreos, brownies, rice krispie treats, and assortment boxes made for gifting and celebrating.

You'll find John and me all around the Charleston area at local markets, or you can order online for local pickup or shipping. Wherever you find us, we're doing the same thing my dad always believed in: spreading a little joy, one piece of chocolate at a time.
